SUBMISSION: It's a good life, that's what I'm told
When I was growing up, you guys taught me to never give up & keep chasing my dreams. Back in high school at the time when I was learning this lesson, instead of going to class, I fell into the wrong crowd with alcohol and drugs. I was hospitalized twice for depression/suicide attempt. I was 30lbs underweight from an eating disorder. It took me an extra 2 years than normal to grow up and finally graduate high school, but I never gave up.
Today, I stand with one week of finals between me and my college graduation. I’m still chasing those dreams. I can’t say I could’ve gotten this far without GC. Because of you, I stay true to myself, true to my goals, and true to my loved ones. I finally did something I’m proud of.
Thank you for putting and keeping me on the right track.
